This small Camellia Japanese variety possesses both a unique blossom and foliage.
Tiny vivid red flowers bell-shaped single blossoms with a display of golden stamens, are set off nicely by fine, bright-green serrated leaves, resembling those of a holly plant.
This plants flowers in the North Hemisphere in Spring.
They are found in eastern and southern Asia, from the Himalayas east to Indonesia.
