Within Ila's corporate philosophy, the trunk is that element capable of uniting wild Nature with the world of design. It is not an inert object, rather something endowed with a soul, each one rare and unrepeatable, telling stories of worlds decades long.
The work of the Ila team is carried out in perfect harmony with the rhythms of the jungle, according to the poetics that give new form to something that was born with unique characteristics: the creations of our craftsmen do nothing more than reveal the essence hidden in the knots and shapes of each trunk, which is transformed from a plant into a precious design element.
Respect for Nature and a vocation for sustainability are integral parts of Jungle Concept Design. Our trunks come from anthropised areas, where reforestation works produce plants of various kinds, each depending on the area and climate; our intervention does not damage habitats, and returns newly planted trees in an amount at least equal to the number of harvested trunks.
The entire process aims to give new life to materials that would otherwise be destined for waste, in a circular perspective of true sustainability applied to the world of design. This philosophy, combined with our culture rooted in Made in Italy, makes each of our creations truly unique, as it tells a story imprinted in the details and folds of the trunk, a living element, made eternal by our work.
